Submission Guidelines
Exchange Gallery: are inviting proposal submissions for the Oct - Dec period of 2010.
Chosen artists will be allocated a two week rent free slot. Applications that show an interest in using the space as part of the work (as opposed to treating the space as a static site of exhibition) are favored.
We would like the space to be useful to the artist as a tool in the research and experimental process of constructing, as well as the functioning of the artwork.
Making full use of the space is central to the idea of an 'exchange' where the space can provide a necessary function for the artist rather than the traditional exhibition format.

EXCHANGE GALLERY: Technical Specifications
Location: Exchange Street Upper, Temple Bar, Dublin 2
Size: The overall size of the space is approximately 24.65 sq.m.
The gallery's window takes up an entire wall providing great natural
light and a strong presence to the street outside.
Height: 352cm Length; 5m Width; 493cm
Capacity: 25 people
Electricty; 12 power sockets, 8 wall socekts and 4 floor sockets
Lights: 6 gallery spots
Equipment: Limited supply of tools, two TVs, a projector, two DVD players.
If we don't have it, we can borrow it. Exchange has a network of over
2000 people who can be asked to lend a hand, skills or equipment.

11am - 10pm 7 days a week
